WHAT WILL I SEE WHEN I LOOK THROUGH THE TUBE?

What does understanding why Humanity is plagued by the same perpetual problems do for me? How will this affect my family and my children? What does understanding why all past civilizations have fallen and why ours is falling now have to do with me? How will this help my business?

How will any of this affect my life and my happiness?

It is true that the theories presented by The Rational Apprentice will involve an investment of your time and mind. But your return on investment will be giant. Understanding the connections requires an intellectual integration and we'll do that by discussing:

All that is required is an investment of your time, your curiosity, and, most importantly, your intellectual honesty.

What Is The Rational Apprentice?

The goal of The Rational Apprentice (TRA) is to raise our social sciences from cyclical trial-and-error to a true Science of Volition that can and will finally solve all of societies perpetual problems.

The TRA content includes discussions, lectures, interactive puzzles, and studies centering on critical thinking, evidence, logic, and objective truth. The Rational Apprentice is the non-political integration of science and philosophy using absolute, observable and corroborable evidence for the precise determination of morality and rationality in Human action using the scientific method.

About The Host: Skoti-Alain Elliott

Skoti-Alain Elliott

Skoti-Alain Elliott studied physics, acoustics, and electronics in college and began his career designing, building, and maintaining A-list recording studios in NYC. He progressed to engineering and mixing records earning him a number of Platinum and Gold records before leaving the music industry in 2004 for a new career in web and software development.

But it was teaching Audio Engineering at New York University and then teaching Application Development as an independent that was the catalyst for The Rational Apprentice.

"Whether it is choosing the right microphone, writing the best algorithm, or making everyday choices in life, the quality of the decision is directly correlated to the quality of obtained information and [your] skill as a critical, rational, and logical thinker."

Behind The Scenes: Regan Elliott

Regan Elliott

Regan began her professional life as the English department chairman and teacher for a private high school. Soon after, she realized her dream to become a California attorney. Practicing law was perfect for her. It is about, among other skills, analyzing problems using logic and reasoning and recognizing the relevance and trustworthiness of opposing evidence.

She first learned about Austrian Economics and Ludwig Von Mises during Andrew J. Galambos' V-50 lectures. It gave her an entirely different perspective on the importance of understanding that the state cannot protect property, and certainly cannot help the working class enjoy greater prosperity, financial security, affordable educational opportunities, reasonably-priced health care, and other necessities (and luxuries) that only The Free Market can deliver.

When she moved to New Hampshire, she and Skoti used their professional and academic backgrounds to design a method of sharing an alternative way to solve the species-threatening societal problems we face today. Regan assists with editing scripts for the Podcast and Newsletters and is the editor of the Mind Over Murder series.

About the Innovator: Andrew J. Galambos

Professor Andrew Galambos

Andrew Joseph Galambos was born in Hungary on June 27, 1924. His parents brought him to America at age two, where the family settled in New York City. He earned degrees in physics from City College of New York (now the City University of New York) and the University of Minnesota. He taught physics at New York University, Brooklyn College, Stevens Institute of Technology of Hoboken, New Jersey, the University of Minnesota, Carleton College of Northfield, Minnesota and Whittier College of Whittier, California.

After starting the Free Enterprise Institute in Los Angeles in 1960, Galambos sponsored guest seminars by well-known freedom-oriented thinkers. Ludwig von Mises and Leonard Read were the first two who spoke in Los Angeles under FEI auspices. Other guest seminars offered in the years 1962-1964 included presentations by F.A. Harper of the Institute for Humane Studies, and Spencer MacCallum, anthropologist, author, and advocate of a theory of proprietary community governance.

KNICKERS!

The Rational Apprentice requires a screen size that is at least 320px wide.

Nobody cares about height—height just isn't a thing—width though? Yeah, that's a different story.

Seriously, update your phone. I don't like being tracked either but this burner screen is just too small.
